Evangelos is the Founder and Director of Found in Translation Ltd also trading as Drakou Translations. He is an official (certified) translator and interpreter with a BA (Hons) degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Sunderland, UK and a Postgraduate Degree in Translation Studies from the University of Birmingham, UK. His working languages are Greek and English. He is bilingual with native fluency in Greek and English.

 

Evangelos have been fortunate enough to have lived in Greece, China and the UK so he have developed a strong connection and understanding of the British and Greek languages and cultures which is very important for his job as a translator and intertpreter. He has been providing services as a freelance translator and interpreter for over 10 years. He is commited to CPD and he always updates his knowledge and expertise by attending webinars, seminars, conferences and events that are relevant to the translation field.

Evangelos is an approved translator and interepreter by the Consulate of the Greek Embassy in London and he is able to provide official (certified) translations for the public athorities in Greece. He is also a Chartered Linguist, a member (MCIL) of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and a full member of the Panhellenic Association of Translators (PAT) which is a member of the International Federation of Translators (FIT-IFT) and the European Legal Interpreters and Translators Association (EULITA).
